Well, as you probably know, yesterday D'espairsRay's live was in Montpellier, a city in the south of France, and fortunately, I was there. I won't really make a report, but I promise I'll do my best to faithfully describes my emotions, observations and impressions. Sorry if there're some mistakes, I'm not bilingual yet ( hope someday I will *-*), anyways, hope you'll enjoy it !
First, I arrived at 2 p.m in front of the hall, with my brother and my best friend and we were about... 75, maybe more. It's not very much for a place which can accommodate 800 people. Everybody was quite calm, sitting on the floor and talking to each other. A friend joined us at 3 p.m, and we kept sitting for 2 hours. At 5 p.m, everybody started to stand up, and we formed the lign before the entrance. We stayed packed one against the other 2 hours before we could come into the hall. At that time (7 p.m), we were about 400, half of how we could have been. Anyways, I thought I would have to run to get a good place, but everybody was still calm, nobody ran, and I could be in the front line without any problems. I was on the furthest left, pressed against the huge speaker, just in front of Zero. I started to worry when I looked at the instruments in front of me.... They didn't look like basses, but guitars. When I looked at it closely, the fingerboards seemed to be smallest than in my memorries and I started to hardly worry x_x. But then a guy from the staff tested it, and thanks god, it was basses ~ FIOU *O*
We had to wait like that for 1 hour. 'Till then, I observed all the stage, and noticed a door on my left, the backstage ! So I kept my eyes concentrate on the door, that was getting open, then close, then open etc... And then, I saw half of.... ZERO'S FACE ! He was trying to look at us, but a guy from the staff came at him and I don't know what happened, but he hid himself and shaked his hand on the gap of the door. It was really funny, but few of us noticed him ~ *proud of me* XD.
20 min laters, Christophe from the staff ( it's not his real name, but as I didn't know his name, I invented one xD) came on the stage and said something like
"Hello Montpellier, as you know, pictures and videos aren't allowed, so please, respect it. Today D'espairsRay is really happy to come back in France so please, hail them as they deserve ! ". And then, everybody started screaming and cheering. I was looking at the door that opened for the last time, and then, came from it the 4 of them, enlighten by a sweet blue light. Karyu was wearing a kind of long black tight-fitting vest with a gliterry scarf around his neck, substituting the formal cravat, and his jeans were black and blue. His haircut was quite simple, but he looked really nice ^^. Tsukasa was all in black, exept his blond hair. He had a sort of tank top but for man, a bit like Karyu's top indeed. He wore black mittens too ^^. Hizumi hummm... I remembered he got a black jacket but I don't remember the rest. His hair wasn't eccentric too ^^. Then Zero was wearing a tank top white and black, and a short black vest on, with a thin gliterry scarf around his neck, as Karyu but smaller ^^. And he wore a black pants, and big black shoes smelling leather too. He had his fetish bracelet and some rings that girls stole him -.-. His hair was the more structured of the band.
They immediatly started playin' Lizard, and then Redeemer. Sometimes Hizumi tried speaking English with us but, when he said something, the audience was like " YEEEEEY" whereas they didn't understand XDD. Zero was really sexy while playin' the bass, and often came at the edge of the stage, inciting the bottom to scream louder. I could read " motto" on his lips, he often repeated it. He smiled a lot and shake his hand like to say "no" and " yes" too, that was really cute ^^.
He often came on the big speaker I was against and then, crouched and played like if he was playin' for me. I first touched his shoes cauz I didn't know if I could touch his hand while he was playin' but indeed, all the girls touched it so I did the same. It was... Sweet. And full of emotion too, in my mind it was like " oh my god, oh my goood, I've touched Zero's hand ! ". Then he often exchanged with Karyu and I could touch his hand too, but it was harder cauz' he is the kind of person who likes playing hard to get. He was like " Do you see that body ? IS MINE ! " XD
And then he came on the edge and moved back, what made girls yelling of impatience. Then sticked out his tongue, etc etc... Bad guy è.é
Finally, he let the left side of the stage touch him twice, that was great ^^. Hizumi came on this side too, he crouched as Zero & Karyu did but this talented dumb man bumbed his head into the speaker that was suspended over him. He didn't come a second time ~ XDDD The only hand I couldn't touch is Tsukasa's one.
I don't remember the order of the songs they played, but before Sixty Nine, Karyu & Zero made solos' battle. I was really surprised cauz' I read on an interview that Karyu never makes solos but yesterday he did. First Zero, then Karyu, then Zero, and Karyu again. They both tried to make the most people yelling, and I think both won ^^.
Then I remember that before the encore, Karyu was playin guitar in the middle of the scene and then Zero sat on Karyu's knee and they both played, rubbing one against the other. That was so HOOOT !!
Then they left the stage, and we slaped on the floor with our feet, asking them to come back, screaming "D'espairsRay ! " and clapping our hands until they came back. Zero had change his top for a "D'espairsRay t-shirt", and Hizumi had a scrap paper in his hand. He took the micro and started speaking French... I promise you that I didn't understand anything XDD. Just in the end, he said " Vous vous éclatez" which means " You are havin' fun". Then everybody scream " Karyuuuu" ! And Karyu said " Je vous aime" with a cuute accent *-* ( Means " I love you"). Zero said the same, but instead of using the you of plural, he use the singular one, that was so cute too !
Then I started to ask Tsukasa, and then everybody was screaming " Tsukasa !" And he said : " Tu t'aimes" ~ means " You love you" ~ XDD
And then they played 'till the end, the only thing I noticed was when Zero stared at me, and then smiled, but I wasn't sure he was looking at me before my brother told me this morning " AND DID YOU SEE WHEN ZERO GIVE YOU A SMIIIIILE ??? ". Well, I hope he really did it T.T
Oh and the girls in the middle of the front line could touch Zero's hair . ToT So luckyyy !! I didn't catch any picks too, what a shame ='(. And Zero spited water on us, as he always do ^^.
Oh and, the video is the end of the live, when Tsukasa took his flute and played Princesse Mononoke for us. I'm not the one who took it, but I hope you'll enjoy this short passage of the live ! ^^
And then, I apologize to kalissia that I couldn't phone because I let my phone in the car x_________x. I thought about it while they were playin' REM -fuyu no genchou- and was very angry against myself u_u.

To conclude, my point of view is really subjective 'cauz' D'Ray who's my fav' band was also my first concert, and so I lived it in a very special way that made me see only the good things. Some people thought there wasn't enough athmosphere at the bottom of the audience, I can't confirm it. The only thing I'm sure about, is that I spent the best moment of my life. That's weird because since I've known them, I have never suffered as much as today from not seeing them, but on the other hand, I've lived the most fabulous 2 hours of my life. I feel like If I was trapped by my feelings ya know, it's such a strange sensation. I was expecting to live the best day of my life, but I didn't imagine that one day, I could feel all the feelings I have today. And I wish every manias to feel these one day..
